Feel uncomfortable or downright scared to audition for a play or
speak before a group? This class will teach each and every participant
to communicate in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere whether
auditioning or speaking before a group.
The course, taught by Mary Ann Whittemore, an experienced teacher of
speech communications with over 20 years experience, will be offered
over 8 weeks, starting September 27 at Lakeland Theatre Company, 411
Mosby Avenue, Littleton, North Carolina. Class hours are 10:00 until
12:00 on Saturday mornings. Registration will take place from 9:30 until
10:00 on the first day of class in the theatre dining room. Cost is
$80.00, all materials provided. Bring yourself and the desire to become
more comfortable speaking before or with any size group.
