Lakeland Theatre And Cultural Arts Center, “the busiest community
theatre in America”, is pleased to announce its 2009 season! Beginning
in January and continuing through December, Lakeland consistently offers
the best entertainment value around, with family classics, musicals,
plays, special events and concerts to suit every taste and style!
In 2009, we will present great musicals, including Rodgers &
Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Hello Dolly!, Joseph and The
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Producers, and (hopefully)
White Christmas. Plays include Lend Me A Tenor, One
Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Special events like The Summer Musical Revue, The Lakeland
Ambassadors Showcase, The L.O.V.E. Awards, The Crab Feed, The Young
Peoples’ Theatre Workshop, and Comedy Night are a part of Lakeland’s
diverse season this year as well. Concerts will feature a patriotic
summer concert and a Christmas concert by The Lakeland Singers.
