As spring awakens all around us, we are again reminded of the good
things we have: friendship, fellowship, and the love of theatre we all
share here at Lakeland. We have so much to be thankful for, and sometimes
I think I do not thank all of you enough for making Lakeland such a great
place to be. To our audiences, who support us and boost us up by their
presence and their applause: to our on-stage actors, singers and dancers,
who practice long hard hours to make it look “easy” on stage: and to our
backstage folks, our designers, builders, painters, stage managers, and
set crew, who labor in the shadows so that the show really can “go on”. To
all, please accept my heartfelt thanks for all you do for Lakeland. This
place would not be the same without each and every one of you, and I want
you to know we value your efforts and your generous donations of time,
money and effort to keep this place going.
As we move forward this year, your presence is requested again, whether
on stage, back stage, or in the audience. We love to see you here at
Lakeland, and we’ll keep doing all we can to keep it that way!
